That virus: a (mostly) serious blog post...

Update on 16th March - our official COVID-19 policy is available here: https://dkclarkephotography.com/covid19

Don't panic

The comforting words on the front of the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. And worth remembering now.

But not panicking and not preparing are very different things, so we have put a protocol (at the very least, a set of statments...) together for our response to coronavirus and COVID-19. (We were set up by a biochemist, after all...)

First, we are still open

Second, we have a big benefit for our family shoots. See that photo up there? That's one of our 'studios'! The great outdoors may have weather-related issues, but close contact with other people is not one of them. Not only will you not be cooped up with other people, we'll be getting you out and about in the fresh air.

What else? We'll not shake your hands out of courtesy! And we are fastidious about our handwashing.

If we feel unwell - or if we've been in recent contact with someone who has tested positive - we'll be in touch to rearrange as necessary.

If you have a shoot booked and one of you has symptoms, or you are concerned, please get in touch. We are happy to rearrange if necessary. But please give us as much advance notice as possible (we still have to pay our team if we can't replace your session).

To recap: we're still taking amazing photographs and we have precautions in place to minimise the risk as best we can.

Post haste

Feedback. A whole year's worth of feedback...
